The former Savage Garden singer, Darren Hayes, was allegedly involved in a racist attack in a Thai restaurant on Wardour Street, Soho. Perhaps he thought £3 was too much to pay for a take away box. The Aussie singer, who www.news.com.au refer to as "Gay Savage Garden singer Darren Hayes" was apparently arrested by Metropolitan police following the incident which is alleged to have taken place on the 22nd July.
"We can confirm that a 35-year-old man was arrested by Westminster police on suspicion of racially abusing a member of staff." said a spokesman for aforementioned pigs. "He was arrested after voluntarily attending a Central London police station by appointment. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries, until the 21st of September."
