When we asked various people involved about it they stuck their heads in the sand and denied things - but now it seems that the Nick Zinner and Blood Brothers and The Locust in thrash supergroup rumours are true, true, true. According to US label Three one G, Justin Pearson and Gabe Serbian of The Locust, Jordan Billie from Blood Brothers, and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs have entered the studio under the moniker of Head Wound City, to record an EP for release on Three one G.
As yet there's no confirmation as to when we'll get to hear anything, but according to one blogging lad called Adam, who seems to be rather close to the band, "The new EP is fucking transcendently brutal, with elegant surrealist lyrics smarter than any "punk" record I’ve heard in forever... I’ve been blown away all day, playing the damn thing over and over again," he writes.
"Just be ready to have yr mind blown when that shit drops." Booom!
