Ageing reality television stars The Sex Pistols have shown that they're still well up for sticking it to the corporate machine by refusing to attend their induction into the rock & roll hall of fame. The remaining members of the punk band posted a shockingly illiterate statement on their website saying how disgusting it was that they were being asked to pay tens of thousands of dollars to go along to the ceremony.
"Next to the Sex Pistols rock and roll and that hall of fame is a piss stain. Your museum. Urine in wine," it sneers. "Were [sic] not coming. Were [sic] not your monkey and so what?"
"Fame at $25,000 if we paid for a table, or $15,000 to squeak up in the gallery, goes to a non-profit organisation selling us a load of old famous. Congradulations [sic]."
Whoever wrote the rant then goes on to attack the judges, saying "If you voted for us, hope you noted your reasons. Your [sic] anonymous as judges, but your [sic] still music industry people. Were [sic] not coming. Your [sic] not paying attention. Outside the shit-stem is a real Sex Pistol."
