Snoop Dogg affiliated crooner Nate Dogg has pleaded not guilty to firearms charges in Southeast Norwalk, Calif. Superior Court, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office.
Nate was originally arrested last June during his spell on the Up In Smoke tour, when a SWAT team surrounded his home after he allegedly held his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint, assaulted her, and set fire to her mother's car.
However, the original terrorist, kidnap and assault charges have since been dropped after Dogg's girlfriend refused to cooperate with police.
The remaining guns charges stem discovery of the weapons in Dogg's house during the raid. Nate cannot legally possess a firearm of any kind due to a drugs conviction dating from 1996.
