was actually there myself too, enjoyed dirty three, bon iver, akron family and the fat lady selling laughing gas on saturday night mostly. personally found bsp to be a bit underwhelming. two gallants didnt impress either, even though i am a fan of the records. heard low guy acted like a tit because he got dumped or something. sunday night was a big low point for me. mountain goats deserved to be shot by the boring american college indie police and constantines didnt sound half as good as they looked. also after seeing bon iver live i have serious doubts about the press release story that they lived ferrously in the woods whilst recording the record, as i was half expecting a terrifying bearded man to amble onstage covered in blood but alas they looked very much the group of american alt rockers with the bassist looking barely out of puberty. still probably my favourite performance of the weekend.

ouch! poor Mountain Goats! A lot of people seemed to really enjoy Bon Iver. Dunno what I'm missing, but then I probably only stayed around for about 3 songs. Did you catch Calexico?
He couldn't have got dumped - his wife was playing drums!

I really like that Bon Iver album but haven't seen them live yet. The album was recorded ages ago though so the possibility exists that he did get a shave betwen then and now...
i missed calexico as id grown tired of sweeping festival rock and went to see mountain goats who just made me cringe slightly and the constantines. managed to get a lift home sunday night to avoid the sprawl on monday morning unfortunately missing wildbirds and peacedrum and zombie zombie
