Playlouder - Music is the Network

Obviously until Playlouder becomes a British Library of song and holds every track ever released, it's going to be pretty hard to build full playlists of recommended tracks and what you're listening to each day, or for certain activities (ie. Melissa's gym one).

So here's my "Making Orange Sweeter" playlist for today:

* One More Grain mix for Allez Allez clubnight (featuring Robert Wyatt, Eno, Can, Fela Kuti, Nico, Durutti Column, Van Morrison)

* Tom Waits - Mule Variations

* Steve Reich - Mucic For A Large Ensemble

* British Sea Power - 'Krankenhaus?'

* Radiohead - 'In Rainbows'

* PJ Harvey - 'White Chalk'

maybe we should be able to put stub releases in playlists, in the same way that we can attach them to discussions and content

Today I've been listening to:

Fugazi - 13 Songs
Broadcast - Tender Buttons
Dinosaur Jr - Bug
Jeffrey and Jack Lewis - City and Eastern Songs

...and now am giving Feist another go. Still don't really like her to be honest.

That PJH album, however, is fantastic....

o like "1 2 3 4" because i heard the van she version before the original

i think it's nice, but really rather dull. One of the better tracks on the album though...

i like the van she one :-)

mostly because they just used the acapella and its mainly one of their songs

got some bawls
